At MrNapper.au, we believe educational resources should be accessible to as many learners as possible.
We are committed to continually improving the accessibility and usability of MrNapper.au and tools.napper.au so that all users can access the educational content provided.
Our Commitment
When developing resources, we aim to:
- Use clear and consistent page layouts.
- Write content in plain, easy-to-understand language.
- Use descriptive headings to improve navigation.
- Maintain sufficient colour contrast for readability.
- Design pages that work across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Support keyboard navigation where practical.
- Provide meaningful alternative text for important images whenever possible.
Web Standards
Where practical, the websites are developed using modern web standards including:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
We aim to follow recognised accessibility principles and continue improving accessibility as the websites evolve.
Known Limitations
As these websites are independently developed and maintained, some older resources may not yet meet current accessibility expectations.
Examples may include:
- older images without alternative text;
- legacy classroom resources with inconsistent formatting;
- downloadable files created before current accessibility practices were adopted.
These resources are reviewed and improved over time.
Interactive Learning Tools
Interactive demonstrations available through tools.napper.au are designed primarily as educational examples.
Where practical, these tools are developed with accessibility in mind. As new tools are created, accessibility considerations form part of the development process.
Browser Compatibility
MrNapper.au is regularly tested using modern web browsers.
The website is expected to work correctly in current versions of:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time task.
As technologies, standards and teaching practices evolve, we will continue to improve the accessibility of both MrNapper.au and tools.napper.au.
